The Coffee Nations!

Worked at the cafe for 6 months and i guess it was a happy experience. Bosses and most of the staffs there were nice to work with, plus i get to learn a lot about coffee and it's making :) Drank quite a few different types of coffee at tcn and really find that their coffee still taste the best compared to other cafes like starbucks. Their mocha is still the best of all, especially when I make myself when I can add as many pumps of chocolate or shots of expresso as I want! haha. It's really a pity that the cafe has closed down :( Fortunately, get to visit tcn during the last day.

The killer stairs. Imgine climbing them up and down for hours, even slipped before!

Climbing the stairs, stomping down when the bell 'ding', slacking by the stairs with other staffs, eating the extra food in kitchen, making own drinks, experimenting with coffee, and even playing frisbee inside cafe with boss. I'll definitely miss the times there < 3

Just paid back mum my school fees and other debts and there is a BIG drop in my bank o.O Hai, need to work for $$$$. I can get more tuition or teach higher levels to get higher tuition fees but I'm quite tired of tutoring alr :( thinking of going back esprit during my dec holis. cant waste my holis anymore!

good bye teenage years!

I'm no longer a teen! Finally joined the 20 years old club last saturday. First present recieved from sarah quek! She felt guilty for not being able to come for my bday celebration, so she handmade a personal pouch for me, 100% sewed! I was shocked when she handed me the present, i love it quack! thank you so muchhh :)))

Another hand-made present from felicia tan! Didn't expect a bday present from her also. Her card looks quite funny but i think it's very nice and creative. Thank you fer, love you! :)))

Followed by birthday surprise from my 3 BFFS! The 3 of them sent me bday messages at the same time, and I was like so qiao?? then feli called me and I heard sarah's laughter over the phone. spoiler sarah! haha. she called me to go down and meet them as they were waiting downstairs already. As i was expecting a nice bday cake with lighted candles, they took out a "sara lee" cake box and put on the table. I opened the box and thought that they actually baked me a cake! and the cake looks like this:

They asked me to go back home and microwave MY OWN BDAY CAKE, and I provided them with the knife and spoons also. Just didn't get to provide my own candles. And you must be wondering why am i blowing the cake and making a wish when there is no candle on my cake, they made me blow and wish upon my imaginery candles -.-" hahaha. And they bought the cake from 7-eleven. But it was unexpectedly a very nice cheesecake!

Had a thrisome birthday celebration with the gang on saturday! Celebrated the birthdays of kenji, me and aaron. The gang always celebrates our birthdays together since our bdays are so near to one another's. Went to Medzs at orchard central, a dining place similar to marche. They had a birthday promotion of 15% discount off total bill. So 5 of the guys started to follow me to buy food as i can get them the 15% off. Every one of them started to treat me so nicely, asking me what i wanna eat and stuff. Their motive is so obvious la. haha. And all of them charged their food to only my card. But they actually paid me back the total bill, treating me to the dinner since its my birthday! yays! Didn't regret sharing the food with them. hahaha! THANK YOU GUYS!

After dinner, they headed over to the mrt station, I actually thought they were planning to go home early. Then they said they are alighting at promenade and going to the park at mbs. In the end they went to the hotel where fer and maine were having d&d. Nice one, I like :) haha. So i get to see my bffs a short while! While the drunkards and the guys started chamwhoring there also.

Following sunday was celebration with gof! And we went marina barrage to fly kite + SUNBURNT. Wanted to make ham+cheese sandwiches for them but i woke up late so too bad. haha. Had them waiting for me for so long, I'm so sorry guys! I went to get kites for all of you noobs okay, I do have some contributions. All of them didn't know how to fly kites, they were trying so hard to fly one kite before I come. Part of the weather's fault also that there's no wind. Their kites started to get higher and higher after several tries and when the wind comes! We didn't expect the weather to be SO HOT that day since it rained the past 2 days and all of us got sunburnt like charcoal. The chocolate layer on top of the cake which they bought for me melted so much that it doesn't even look like a cake anymore. I was like "what is that??" when they took the cake out. My birthday cakes seemed the most cui this year. hahaha. But the cake was damn nice once again! Although it's ABIT too warm. haha.

THANK YOU GOF for the birthday celebration and cake surprise! I gave you guys a great kite-flying eperience also right, forget about the sunburnt part la huh. haha. And thank you for the birthday cards and messages! Although ryan's ABIT crappy and can see that he is trying very hard to fill up the whole paper, sharon's very obvious shooting here and there, zhiyong's suaning about my lateness, dal's reminder about my age, jiayen's zai malay until i don't know how to read and don't know what she meant, sushan's first part of msg makes me wanna cry :'( but touching encouragements and wishes, and terence's best wishes. Thank you for everything :)))
